Moon Over Monochrome

“Thoughts While Creating”

Winter has descended upon this monochrome scene.

Gentle winds blow through the trees as white snow begins to fall to the ground. Hidden in the gray shadows of everything lie the relics of the town’s history.

Old cars and buildings from years gone by dot the darkened road. Left abandoned they fall prey to the ravages of the winter seasons. Paint peels, windows crack, while time seems to stand still.

Yet there is a beauty to the monochrome. As the day ends, the pale moon casts its yellow sparkles over all shadows, once more reminding us that light will always reflect over the darkness.
