"Thoughts While Creating"
There was a time when "Made in America" meant something.
During the years of 1950 through 1960 there were 58 million cars produced in the United States. Coming out of World World II the American manufacturing infrastructure was poised to become the largest car producer in the world. Classic cars built by companies such as Chevrolet, Ford, Plymouth, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Chrysler, Tucker, and Nash led the way as new styles and designs entered the market.
This was a time when "Made in America" was held in the highest esteem. The ability for the greatest generation to put aside their personal differences, to sacrifice their lives, and to come together to make America great was the norm. Responsibility and accountability were as firm as your handshake.
As with everything time moves on and memories become distant. With each passing day more and more of these great American Classics are driving into history.
