Thoughts While Creating
He is home.
Maybe it was his broad smile or his gentle approach or even the way he said, “God Bless”, whatever it was, there was something about him that you could not forget. Many friends found themselves looking forward to Sunday mornings and seeing and talking to him again.
I remember the first time I was introduced to him by Fr. Anthony who was a friend of his and brought him into our family. His hand engulfed mine and it was like I was meeting a soul that I had known for a long time. We shared many breakfasts together, a great cup of coffee, a fresh bagel, as well as conversations that went deep into the ways of the world and his love of Christ.
Like all earthly journeys his has ended, and he has moved on to the next plane. I’m sure his heartly laugh can be heard echoing in heaven as he looks back at a life well lived. For all of us that knew you we will miss you, but we also know that there will be a time when we will meet again and pick up right where we left off.
