Thoughts While Creating
The Easter Morn community stands ready to welcome you.
It is an event as well as a location. Constructed and opened in 1792 this place of worship welcomes all to celebrate the events that occurred over 2000 years ago. Pastor Jones (great-grandson of the first pastor) greets every person that comes to the services and calls each by name. It serves as a reminder that we have all been called.
The large cross outside the building is constructed for the Easter season. It stands as a stark representation of Jesus’s level of sacrifice that he suffered for us all. Local towns people and their families walk to the early morning celebration, everyone dressed in their Sunday best.
On this day, and at every celebration, we are reminded of the importance of community. The coming together as one, the offering of gratitude, and the sharing of love for all that has been given. The next time you are in town be sure to stop by for the Sunday service. Pastor Jones will be outside greeting everyone by saying “Welcome to Easter Morn”.
