Thoughts While Creating
Kitty Hawk, North Carolina – December 17th, 1903
Orville and Wilbur Wright were two American aviation pioneers credited with inventing, building and flying the world’s first successful airplane. Their Wright Flyer made the first controlled sustained flight of a powered craft that was heaver than air. Their breakthrough was the creation of a 3-axis control system which enabled the pilot to steer the aircraft effectively while maintaining its equilibrium.
Like other American inventors they were able to overcome many obstacles and set-backs on their way to success. Thomas Edison who holds 1,093 US patents is credited with saying – “I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
The Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, George Washington Carver, Sarah Boone, and many others were American pioneers that made their dream reality through hard work and perseverance.
We see clouds, the Wright Brothers and others like them see the future.
