Thoughts While Creating

Gone but never forgotten.

It’s sunset and we are witness to the perfect scene. We stand outside the old barn and squint into the setting sun; returning us to a place of childhood miracles. Without a sound, the birds rise into the air, we sense the movement of our old friends whose spirits have passed into eternity. Deep in our hearts, we have always known that their spirits still run free.

Memories of times spent together flood our senses. Once again, we experience the echoes of their hooves thundering across the field and with manes flying in the wind we are returned to a time of growing up together. We built our bonds on the foundations of trust and love.

We have since moved on in life, time and events have clouded us, yet we will always remember the joy of watching our friends run free.
