Thoughts While Creating

Return to a time when the Beacon’s light provided guidance to all travelers.

Throughout the years, beacons of different sizes and shapes have provided a warm and welcoming light. Many of these beacons still exist while others were destroyed by the very storms from which they protected the travelers.

Legend says that many years ago a wooden ship was passing through the harbor when a storm seemed to appear out of nowhere. Dark clouds and high winds whipped the ocean into a frenzy and sent the ship straight towards the rocky cliffs. The lighthouse keeper braved the storm and did not leave their post until they were sure that the light provided had guided the ship safely through the rough waves. The souls on board were able to adjust their course at the last minute to avoid a catastrophe. Upon stopping at the lighthouse to thank the lighthouse keeper they were informed that this lighthouse had been abandoned for years.

I often come to this place and have noticed that if you look closely you might still see the beacon shining its welcoming light towards the ships passing in the night.
